This Privacy Policy applies to llmstxtgenerator.co, its website, account area, website crawler, llms.txt checker, hosted artifacts, and related email and payment flows (together, the “Service”).

The Service is operated under the name llmstxtgenerator.co. The privacy contact is hello@llmstxtgenerator.co.

Depending on how you use the Service, we may process:

• Account information: your email address, account timestamps, login-token state, and session state.
• Website information: the URL you submit, discovered public URLs, page titles, public page content, headings, metadata, business context, generated summaries, and generated llms.txt artifacts.
• Payment information: Stripe checkout and payment identifiers, payment status, currency, amount, page count, and selected pricing tier. We do not need to store your full card number.
• Communications: messages you send to support and the delivery status of transactional emails such as magic links, payment notices, and update notices.
• Technical information: security and operational logs that may include request time, route, status, browser or device details, and IP address as supplied by the hosting environment.

You can use the free preview without creating an account. An account is needed to claim and manage projects, approve a payment, and access the dashboard.

We use information only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and communicate about the Service. This includes:

• Discovering and analyzing the publicly reachable website you submit.
• Generating page summaries, business context, and llms.txt content with an AI provider.
• Creating and maintaining your account, sessions, projects, artifacts, and update history.
• Processing one-time payments, confirming payment status, and starting the purchased generation.
• Sending passwordless sign-in links, purchase confirmations, generation-complete notices, update notices, and operational messages.
• Preventing abuse, diagnosing errors, enforcing the Terms, meeting legal obligations, and protecting the Service and its users.

Where data protection law requires a legal basis, the basis will depend on the activity and may include performance of a contract or steps requested before a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where consent is required.

When you submit a website, the Service requests publicly reachable pages and sitemap information from that website. The submitted URL and relevant public page content may be sent to the AI service provider configured for generation so the provider can analyze the business and produce summaries.

The Service is intended for public website content. Do not submit private, confidential, regulated, or personal information that you are not authorized to share with the Service or its providers. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to request the crawl and process the submitted content.

Generated artifacts are designed to be public. Anyone who has a project’s hosted artifact URL may be able to retrieve the published Markdown file. Do not include information in the source website that should not appear in a public artifact.

We use carefully selected providers to deliver the Service. Depending on the feature, information may be processed by:

• Our hosting and database infrastructure, which stores account, project, page, payment, artifact, and update data.
• OpenAI or the AI provider configured for the generation workflow, for analyzing public website content and producing summaries.
• Stripe, for hosted checkout and payment processing. Stripe handles payment card details under its own privacy terms.
• Resend, for transactional email delivery such as magic links and project notifications.

We may disclose information when necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, investigate abuse, enforce the Terms, or protect the rights, safety, and security of the Service, our users, or others. We do not sell personal information.

The Service currently uses essential cookies to keep you signed in and to connect an anonymous project to the account that claims it. These include an HTTP-only session cookie and, when needed, a short-lived project-claim cookie. They are not used for advertising.

Login links expire after 15 minutes and can be used once. Sessions are designed to expire after 30 days. You can clear cookies in your browser, but doing so may sign you out or make an unclaimed project harder to connect to your account.

We keep information for as long as it is needed to provide the Service, maintain your account and purchased artifacts, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, meet legal obligations, and keep reliable operational records. Retention periods can vary by data type and the project’s status.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted transport, restricted server access, hashed authentication tokens, and access controls around account data. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Depending on where you live and which law applies, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. You may also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority.

To make a request, email hello@llmstxtgenerator.co from the account email address where possible and describe the request. We may ask for information needed to verify that the request concerns your account. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.
